Program
9.00 Kick off with a hot cuppa in propagation area
9.30 Walk across various paddocks and spot the diverse range of grasses and forbs and possibly some fauna.
12.30 Back to the propagation area for a half hour discussion on what species had been found.
1.00 Lunch (half hour) BYO
1.30 Talk by Lauren Van Dyke, Kosciuszko to Coast Partnership Facilitator
1.45 Propagation demonstration by Jodie Umback and Sue Connelly. This
demonstration will cover how to take cuttings, divide plants by root
division and how best to sow seed
3.00 Refreshments and general discussion on vegetation in cold climates
4.30 Finish

Please wear sturdy walking shoes, bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and a happy face.

Directions:

From Canberra, pass through Bredbo then turn left into Jerangle Rd and drive 2.37 km. Thistlebrook Park is on left.

From Cooma turn right into Jerangle Rd before Bredbo and drive 2.37 km. Thistlebrook Park is on the left.
