Come along to the inaugural meeting of the 'Friends of Mulligans Flat' meeting at Delfin Lend Lease Sales Office, Francis Forde Boulevarde, Forde on Sunday 23 October at 11 am.

Parkcarers of Southern Murrumbidgee - September activity

Planned activities: Planting trees and shrubs, spreading Themeda seed (Kangaroo Grass) and making clay seed balls.
Please wear suitable clothes and sturdy footwear, and bring water. If you have experience with clay seed balls that would be great.

Farrer Ridge Parkcare - September working bee

Community meeting at Numeralla to discuss Koalas surveys on the Monaro
Submitted by Lynton Bond on Sat, 29/01/2011 - 10:22The NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water (DECCW) will be holding public meetings in Bredbo, Cooma and Numeralla, primarily to provide information about koala surveys to be undertaken in parts of the Southern Tablelands in the coming months and to recruit volunteers to assist with the surveys.

Individuals or groups can nominate themselves or others.
Winners will be announced at the 2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards Presentation and Celebration event to be held in April 2011.
Help Restore Canberra’s Parks—Upcoming CVA weekend projects

Join us on local projects as we work to restore the Biodiversity of several parks in Canberra’s inner south.
We will be removing woody weeds from the park areas, making them a more enjoyable space for people and native wildlife alike. This important project will also help conserve a key remnant of one of Australia’s most threatened ecosystems, grassy woodlands, and the endangered wildflower, the Button Wrinklewort.
