Join the local Chapter of the Natural Sequence Association in building a NSF-style leaky-weir, plus a demonstration of the latest composting equipment and activators. Wear gardening gear if you will be assisting in bulidng the weir.

Landcare Australia has been selected as the environmental charity for Bayer who are celebrating “50 Years of the Pill” with a marketing campaign using Facebook. Other charities include Mission Australia, White Ribbon and International Women’s’ Development Agency.
The Molonglo River Rescue Action Plan details how to rehabilitate the Molonglo River - from Captains Flat in NSW right through to its confluence with the Murrumbidgee in north-western ACT. The Plan will officially be launched with the help of year 2 students from Ainslie Primary School at Molonglo Reach opposite Duntroon, ACT. Hard copies of the Plan will be available on the day or can be collected from the Molonglo Catchment Group office in Queanbeyan.
This workshop uses a stimulating mix of lectures and activities to present a valuable outlook on the interconnecting factors involved with the biodynamic method of farming and gardening.
Burra Landcare is hosting a Sunday morning discussion to toss around ideas about three of the major issues in rural residential life; water, weeds and feral animals.
